Jesus’ Empowering Process of Making Disciples (John 1:35-4:36)

Wade Trimmer, December 28, 2008
Part of the Disciple-making series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The sooner we realize this tragic disobedience to our Lord’s mandate and repent and return to Jesus’ equipping process, embracing the wisdom and fruitfulness of his method of relational reproduction of disciples, the sooner we will make disciples of all people groups on the earth. Robert Coleman was correct when he stated, “One cannot transform a world except as individuals in the world are transformed, and individuals cannot be changed except as they are molded in the hands of the Master. The necessity is apparent not only to select a few helpers but also to keep the group small enough to be able to work effectively with them.
